Jamaican Jazz Sessions at Bar Swift

The Jamaican Jazz Sessions celebrates Jamaican excellence, and the influence Jamaica has had on the UK. Inspired by the very nation that exudes determination, optimism and infectious passion. Bar Swift presents Jamaican inspired Appleton Estate rum cocktails, paired perfectly with live Jamaican inspired British Jazz.

BAR SWIFT'S NEW APPLETON ESTATE RUM COCKTAILS

A celebration of Jamaican excellence – Jamaica transformed rum into an art form, while the world-renowned team at Bar Swift continue to redefine excellence in the UK bar scene.

Taking inspiration from Jamaica, Bar Swift presents:

RAISED IN KINGSTON

Appleton Estate 8YO Reserve, Montenegro, hazelnut orgeat, lime sherbet, Angostura & orange bitters, orange, mint, nutmeg.

Inspired by Joy Spence herself, the World’s first female Master Blender, who much like the Mai Tai has an incredible history. Both celebrated and adored the world over for good reason. We took inspiration in her creativity to produce this delicious twist on a classic.

HIP STRIP

Appleton Estate 12YO Rare Casks, Campari, strawberry, pineapple, lime, coconut.

Inspired by the nightlife of Montego Bay, let this drink transport you down the hip strip famous for late night parties, loud music and Jamaican hospitality.

POCKET ROCKET

Appleton Estate 15YO Black River Casks, Campari, sweet vermouth, banane, chocolate bitters, up, orange twist.

Inspired by Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, one of the most decorated athletes of all time and considered one of the greatest sprinters ever. It takes grit, determination and a whole lot of focus to achieve what Shelly-Ann did. This drink embodies this courage, with a punchy backbone of Appleton Estate 15YO and Campari, with added flair from banana and chocolate.

LIVE MUSIC INSPIRED BY JAMAICA

Sharing the influence Jamaica has had on the UK, Bar Swift’s cocktails have been paired with Jamaican inspired British Jazz. The Jamaica Jazz Sessions showcase emerging British Jazz talent including Shamiya Battles, Tess Hurst and Laville – all who have a sound influenced by Jamaica and its infectious passion.

Enjoy a Jamaican Jazz Session at home with our specially curated Spotify playlist by all the artists performing live at the sessions!

“Being 2nd generation Jamaican myself I see first hand how my culture continues to inspire generations and impact different industries across the world! It’s amazing how such a small island births some of the best athletes, musicians and food” Shamiya Battles.
